We won’t forget the moment we stood at Los Angeles International Airport with our family, holding one-way tickets to move to Ethiopia. It was hard to imagine where we would be today, having created over 1.5 million hours of empowerment, built the largest finished leather goods business exporting from Ethiopia, and created opportunities for 200+ employees (80% of whom are women).
We are once again standing at a new beginning. We have always believed in building a better way, and that happens through community. Simply put, our community is why we exist.
